Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Sunday (approx. 40 hrs/week)
Salary: $120,000-$150,000 + Benefits
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in both household and restaurant environments
- Professional culinary training
- Strong organizational skills and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and legal documentation (background check and NDA required)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, especially during major events
- Friendly, team-oriented demeanor; comfortable with dogs
Primary Responsibilities:
Meal Planning & Preparation:
- Prepare lunch 3 days per week for 2 principals and 3 staff members
- Cook dinner 3–4 evenings per week for 2–3 people
- Prepare buffet-style or formal dinners for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter), with support from extra staff
- Assist with 1–2 cocktail parties per year (~60 guests; additional staffing provided)
- Manage two kitchens including pantry, fridge, and freezer inventory
- Source all groceries and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment
- Comfortable with American, French, and Italian cuisine (others welcome)
Household Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support seamless daily operations
- Oversee food inventory, kitchen restocking, and basic kitchen equipment management
- Support hosting needs for larger events or gatherings
Daily Routine Highlights:
- Execute timely, simple meal service for lunch and dinner as scheduled
- Keep kitchen and prep areas organized and stocked
- Monitor inventory levels for food, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality
