About The Role
An UHNW couple is seeking an accomplished Private Chef to oversee all daily meal prep and kitchen operations within their large, remote residence.
- Location: Jackson, Wyoming (Primary Residence)
- Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible (Base 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday)
- Salary: $120,000 - $165,000+ Health & dental, 401(k), PTO, housing, etc
This is a hands-on, long-term role for a polished, discreet, and highly organized professional with Michelin-level training, private household experience, and a passion for healthy, high-quality cuisine.
The ideal candidate thrives in a private home environment, understands the demands of mountain living, and takes pride in delivering consistent culinary excellence while managing all aspects of a household kitchen independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily breakfast and dinner for the principals, with occasional lunches or special requests
- Plan menus ranging from simple, balanced meals to refined offerings for small gatherings (typically 4-12 guests)
- Source premium, seasonal ingredients and manage grocery shopping, inventory, and kitchen budget
- Ensure food availability for the principals at all times
- Maintain a spotless, well-organized kitchen and pantry
- Manage and care for all kitchen appliances, tools, and surfaces
- Stock beverages and light snacks for household staff
- Coordinate with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assess and recommend kitchen equipment and supply purchases
- Support small in-home events and dinner parties as needed
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience as a Private Chef in UHNW households or equivalent elite private service
- Michelin-trained with experience at 3+ Michelin-star restaurants required
- Proven private household experience required
- Strong background in specialty diets, nutrition, and modern culinary techniques
- Prior experience working or living in Jackson Hole, Aspen, or similar mountain climates
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Professional, courteous, and discreet demeanor
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Valid passport and ability to travel as needed
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fully COVID-vaccinated and willing to complete in-house testing
- Non-smoker, no substance use, and physically able to perform all required duties
- Long-term intent and commitment to role longevity
