About The Role

An UHNW family seeks a Director of Personal Operations to lead PA teams and oversee seamless execution of personal and professional priorities.

  • Location: Bergen County, New Jersey
  • Schedule: Full-time with 24/7 availability and flexibility
  • Salary: $200,000-$250,000 + comprehensive benefits + PTO
This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring elite service standards, operational efficiency, and the family's overall well-being and work-life balance.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Russian and English, highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and deeply experienced in managing PA teams within fast-moving, high-trust environments. This role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs while maintaining calm authority.


Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support a team of 6-7 Personal Assistants
- Ensure tasks are distributed efficiently, deadlines are met, and priorities remain aligned
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performance team culture
- Oversee broader household operations, coordinating with a 15-20 person domestic staff
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between the family and the PA team
- Manage complex international and domestic schedules, including business, personal, and private jet travel
- Oversee planning and execution of high-end personal events and large-scale projects
- Coordinate with global vendors, venues, and service providers
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, resolving matters quickly and discreetly
- Maintain elite service standards and proactively identify gaps or risks
- Anticipate family needs and mitigate challenges before they arise
- Support the family's overall well-being, balance, and lifestyle sustainability
- Ensure strict confidentiality across all personal and professional matters


Qualifications
- Fluent in both Russian and English
- Extensive experience supporting UHNW families in high-pressure, high-trust environments
- Proven leadership in managing PA or executive support teams
- Strong background in workflow systems, delegation, and performance management
- Highly intuitive, detail-focused, and solution-oriented
- Exceptional people-management skills with a balance of authority and empathy
- Experience acting as a bridge between personal and corporate leadership operations
- Expertise in managing complex travel, schedules, events, and multi-layered logistics
- Trusted advisor on team structure, vendor management, and operational efficiency
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Based in New Jersey or willing to relocate
