About The Role

A private family is seeking a hands-on House Manager / Family Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of their home

  • Oversee daily household organization and operational needs
  • Track household needs and ensure the home remains well organized and prepared
  • Support the principal with occasional personal and family assistant tasks
Location: Tribeca, New York
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (overriding flexibility required)
Compensation: $110,000 - 130,000 + benefits DOE


A private family is seeking a hands-on House Manager / Family Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of their home. This role combines household management, errands, vendor coordination, and occasional personal assistant support.
The household operates within a highly organized, calendar-driven environment and requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm, service-oriented presence in the home.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily household organization and operational needs
  • Maintain household inventories including groceries, pantry items, and supplies
  • Coordinate grocery shopping, household errands, and general procurement
  • Manage and schedule household vendors, maintenance, and service providers
  • Track household needs and ensure the home remains well organized and prepared
  • Support the principal with occasional personal assistant tasks and logistical coordination
  • Review calendar notes and coordinate household needs accordingly
  • Maintain organized systems for vendors, household purchases, and recurring needs
  • Assist with school pickup and occasional support for one kindergarten-aged child
  • Assist with light meal preparation or simple cooking for the household when needed
  • Help manage basic child-related logistics and routines as needed
  • Assist with guest preparation and general household readiness
  • Support occasional travel or weekend needs when required
  • Approach the role with a "no task too big or small" mindset
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a private household or supporting high-net-worth families
  • Experience in a hybrid household management / family assistant role preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working within calendar-driven environments
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and service-oriented
  • Calm, flexible, and solution-focused
  • Valid driver's license
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
