About The Role
A private family office is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to support a Principal across personal, estate, operational, and project-based needs.
- Location: New York, NY and The Hamptons
- Salary: $200,000 - $275,000 + Benefits
This role will serve as a central point of coordination across multiple residences, vendors, household staff, construction-related projects, scheduling, and day-to-day execution.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in private service, family office operations, estate management, or a similar high-touch environment. This person must be highly organized, discreet, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable operating between strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities include: - Supporting the Principal with scheduling, communication, follow-up, and daily priorities
- Overseeing estate operations across New York City and the Hamptons
- Managing household staff, vendors, contractors, and external partners
- Coordinating maintenance, service standards, budgets, invoices, and property-related projects
- Supporting construction, renovation, and capital improvement initiatives
- Creating structure, accountability, and clear communication across a lean private office team
- Assisting with lifestyle logistics, events, dinners, travel, and special requests
- Maintaining absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Estate Manager, Operations, or senior private service role
- Prior experience in UHNW homes, family offices, luxury hospitality, or high-touch private environments
- Strong knowledge of estate operations, vendor management, budgets, and project coordination
- Experience managing staff and driving accountability
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and passport required
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
